About Lee

 

Lee is an experienced and qualified Guitar tutor having played, toured & recorded for many years. He has been playing guitar from the age of 14, firstly teaching himself and then learning from teachers such as Gypie Mayo (Dr Feelgood). He formed his first band at 15 and has been teaching, playing and songwriting in bands ever since, playing in venues such as Ronnie Scotts, Dingwalls, The Marquee, Chinnery’s, 100 club, playing alongside artists such as Finley Quaye, Boy George and the Brand New Heavies. His band Sentivo was on Long Lost Brother Records (Jamiroquai, SIA) making recordings for producers such as Mickey Most, Joey Negro and Mark Knight.  He studied music/guitar theory in London where he gained his Music Diploma. Since then he has acquired a level 4 PTTLS Teaching certificate and holds a  full DBS certificate. He is now currently teaching guitar in  colleges & venues in Southend and playing, singing and writing music & lyrics for different projects.
